same here, i really don't like the harry potter and the halfblood-prince movie, the book is brilliant though.
sometimes i could really choke dumbledore for his vague hints and this sentence: "harry isn't old enough..."
grrr...
there i almost go ballistic...
anyway, maybe you should watch the 7th movie. it's so much better and even without dumbledore ;)

at the beginning of me reading english books, I could hardly understand anything, but from time to time my understanding gets better and better and now I barely have to look up the german words.
maybe you should try to do the same thing as when you're hearing english.
don't try to understand all perfectly, it'll impedes you and you'll run out of steam.
just give it a try and you'll see it isn't that difficult.

Have you ever dreamed in English?
I have.. I dreamed, that I went with Rupert und Emma near a river and we told about Harry Potter..
We spoke in English and I understood everything.. :)
And when I woke up I thought in English too. Only a moment..

I'm 16 now A friend of mine only reads English books. I will ask her to borrow me a good one and then I will try again.

Maybe I will watch movie 7.1 today. I want to go to the cinema soon and watch 7.2 again (I've already seen it 2 times) I've never seen 7.2 in German O.o

sadly i didn't watch hp7.2 in english, only in german by now, but when i'm going to buy it, then i'll only watch it in english ;)

I've started watching movies in english, when i've first seen lord of the rings, that was 7 years ago ;)
harry potter was the second movie i've watched in english.

Omg, I have so many favorite characters... In the films I like the trio, McGonagall, Snape, Dobby, Neville, Luna, Bellatrix, Umbrigde, Voldemort, Dumbledore (played by Richard Harris), Trelwanie, Hagrid and so on...
I like all those evil characters, because they are played soo well by their actors <3

In the books I like: the trio, McGonagall, Peeves (I love his poems!), Dumbledore, Trelawnie (she's just funny) Hagrid, Luna, Ginny, Neville, Lupin, Dobby... and more peoble which I just forgot

Oh yes! I have an obsession with Julie Andrews since the beginning of this year. It all started when I first saw Mary Poppins in English. I discovered her beautiful voice researched her in the internet and fell in love with her. I love musicals and I had to buy many, many of her films (which I also watched in English, of course).

the way she acts and how she make the children laugh, so adorable ;)

my obsessions? erw, where shall I start?
the biggest, which i've, is johnny depp. he's my favorite actor since i'm twelve years old :)
i've seen him in pirates of the caribbean and i was lost.
sadly, i was only twelve years old and i've to watch it in german, but after i watched it in english , oh i was sooo in love with him after that i watched every single movie of him :)
his voice is so fascinating and captivating and i can't resist its charm.

my seconds obssesion is the lord of the rings, to be exact j.r.r tolkien. he's my favorite author and his books fascinates me very much. he's really a great author <3

hehe, I like Pirates of the Caribbean, too When I saw it the first time I didn't like it that much, because I didn't really understand it. But I saw all the films again with a friend, a few months ago and I really liked it.

What other books do you like, exept of HP and Lord of the rings?
I mostly read fantasie novels. There is a book series called "Die Gilde der schwarzen Magier" by Trudi Canavan which I recommend.
