Oh, damn G8. I was lucky and went to a 'Gesamtschule', so I had 13 years. ;)
I'm sure it's interesting, but you're right you still have a lot of time. ;)
Now I'm running out of topics too.

Hi there!
At school, my English is very good, but I don't know how it is to speak to a
real English guy :)
I'm learning English for 6 years now. That's pretty much, I've started to speak this beautiful language when I was eight and it's still going on until I'm 18 years old!
I don't know what to write...it's more difficult in English, isn't it?
But I must say, English is way better than French. I don't like French
Now...were you able to understand my English?
I hope so :)
See you, H. :)

Well i did!

I guess it's everybody's problem. You don't know how to do it without practicing. So I advise to do an exchange year. That's amazing and helps a lot!
In May i will have my A-level exam in english and I'm looking forward to... Maybe because I'm not afraid of speaking English, well I don't know

Yeah I guess most of us have the problem that they don't know how to speak.
It doesn't even has to be a exchange-year, even though it's probably the best way to learn english. The first time I really had to use my english was when I visited my brother in canada. So most people there were native speaker (from all over the world). In the beginning I wasn't sure what to say and stuff, but after only two weeks I was way more confident. The next time I went on holiday in an english-speaking country (scottland) I had no problem with talking in english anymore. While my best friend - who was always way better in english than me (and still is I guess) - was to shy to talk, 'cause she never had to do it before.
And I have to say: I love french. I'm not good in it - even though I learned it for 6 years - I'm not even able to introduce myself properly, but still it's a beautiful language and I kinda regret it that I never really practised it and that I was often skipping the french-lessons.
Jess, you will have it as 'mündliche'? I did the same last year, but I only got 7 points.

I think it wasn't cause my english was not good enough, but 'cause I didn't really prepare myself. So I had no idea of the topics. It was around 1 month after we finished the first part of the examinations (the writing stuff in some other subjects), so I was still celebrating this to much to care about my englishexam.

I don't like French as a language. But I like the lesons, because I think it's rather easy - if you had maths the lesson before.
But I think, that the language sounds a bit silly. You can't say something really bad, without making it sound riddicolous.

I love maths (it always was one of my favorite and best subjects), so I can't say that. And most of my french teachers have been terrible (and I had 4 different).
You've got a point there. English and German are both better for swearing and stuff ;)
Oh, might be interesting for you: yesterday I had a lesson about John Lennon. I don't know if my students enjoyed it as much as my colleque and I did, but I think it was really good. ;) We also listened to some songs of the beatles (and to a 'song' of yoko ono - even though I'm not sure if you can call it music).
