I also agree with Miss Lucy Malfoy. 'Buchhandlung Prien' is a name, so you can use the german version.

If we want to study or find a job abroad, it's good to know all this stuff.

We never learned that in school. I'm jealous. ;)

Yes, and now I know why, I would have less problems.

Why do you have to write a curriculum vitae? You don't seem to be at school anymore.

Oh, I'm still in school, my last year. And after my A-levels I want to do/make (not sure -.-) something like a social year in Africa. So I have to write my application (correct word?) till friday. Some parts are in german - other, like the curriculum veritae, in english.

we've to learn it, was quite annoying but now i'm glad about it ;)

it's my last year too, thankfully ;)
to do is the right version, to make is very german, so try to avoid this form...

that sounds very interessting, so you don't really know what you'll do after this social year?

Thankfully? I'm still not sure if it's cool to get out of school or if I'm sad about it. :D So much free time and nearly nothing you have to care about...

I want to study 'social work' or something like this but before that I want a year without learning and I think it will be a great life and work experience. :)
What are your plans for the next year(s)?

Are you kidding? My mondays alone are pure horror... classes until five, including sports, then vast amounts of homework, term paper... I think I don´t have a single day within the week on which I can stop working before 8:00pm-9:00pm... I miss actual free time  right now, i should be doing my term paper instead of being at the Great Hall... And I still need to go to the supermarket to buy food and toilet paper -.- I'm REALLY looking forward to the time after my final exams, because then I can spend a year working on sth I actually like to do, like a social year, and won't have to care about so much additional work.

For me it's nearly the same. I have 2 years of school left and after my A-levels I want to travel for a year, too.
I don't know what to study.. I even don't know IF I really want to study.
I think it's good to take a year off and think of something else. To get to know the world and to experience how real life is :D

@ Miss Lucy Malfoy: Really so bad? Last year I had pretty much school. Nearly every day till 4pm. But this year? I don't have any sport course because I had a sailing course in the last half week of the holydays and the first days of school this year. 2 hours less then last year. I deselected biology - 4 hours less. So only one day a week I really have nine lessons. Often my free lessons are at the middle of the day but I use them to do my homeworks or just for hanging around with friends. Some times it's stressy but I prefer to go outisde in the afternoon - and doing some sports for example, meeting friends in the evening and working in the night.. The themes we're talking about are not that complicated that I need so much time for understanding them, only in some subjects. What else? Oh yeah we have 12 free weeks a year!
Some time it is stressy, but only because I am one of those people who always say 'you've got enough time for it' and suddenly it's like 'oh fuck I have to prepare this lecture till tomorrow' - my own fault. ;)
But I'm also looking forwar to the time after school.

Exactly! I've got nothing to add.

yeah thankfully :)
i hardly have a minute for myself much less for gina's hogwarts. school is really sapping at the moment and I want it to be finished soooo bad ;/
fortunately, i've only got after school on wednesday this year, but I still have do do so much for my a-levels. added to this, i've my hobbies, which i hardly have time for and I was already forced to quit some of them...

by the way, i'm going to travel in the USA for one year and i'm sooo excited about it! it was really hard to save so much money for this trip, but i think it was worth it ;)
