But I think, that the language sounds a bit silly. You can't say something really bad, without making it sound riddicolous.
You've got a point there. English and German are both better for swearing and stuff ;)
Oh, might be interesting for you: yesterday I had a lesson about John Lennon. I don't know if my students enjoyed it as much as my colleque and I did, but I think it was really good. ;) We also listened to some songs of the beatles (and to a 'song' of yoko ono - even though I'm not sure if you can call it music).

A great subject for a lesson! :)
Which songs did you listen to?
And thank you for finding another subject to write about! :)

I guess most people hate it, but I don't know, for me it's easy and fun. ;)Ginny-Bonnie Weasley hat geschrieben: Maths? Really? I hate it and at school I'm not soooo good in it...

and this amazing video of yoko ono screaming/singing - I couldn't stop laughing.
You're welcome ;)

Oh. my god. She really can't sing. XD I laughed a lot. And my mum just came in and asked, what stuff I watched, beacause it was so loud. xD She started laughing, too. :)Sonea Ginevra Inava hat geschrieben: nothing special: imagine (we also read the lyrics and discussed a little bit about the meaning), yesterday, twist n shout, here comes the sun and a few more.

Re: Only English!
Haha I guess that will be my problem too. Well at first I thought maybe I should have it as 'schriftlich'. But when I got my last exam back and got only 7 points I decided to choose 'mündliche'. I hope that it was the right choice. Because until now I'm still not very sure about my decision, but I can't change anymore... so...Sonea Ginevra Inava hat geschrieben:Jess, you will have it as 'mündliche'? I did the same last year, but I only got 7 points.I think it wasn't cause my english was not good enough, but 'cause I didn't really prepare myself. So I had no idea of the topics. It was around 1 month after we finished the first part of the examinations (the writing stuff in some other subjects), so I was still celebrating this to much to care about my englishexam.

Oh my goodness!

Re: Only English!
Did anyone here ever talk to a dutch? That's very cool.
One time, I were alone at home and then suddendly the bell rangs. I opened the door and there stood young woman from London. I was very excited and courious! We talk together and she praise me for my English. She said: "You are one of the first 13 years old guys here, who speaks such a good english for you age." That maked me very happy

Become friends with people who aren't your age. Hang out with people whose first language

isn't the same as yours. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow.

I'm still wondering why she is so famous. Who wants to listen to something like this? Strange woman.

I'm sure you will get a good mark. If you're english is good (and it seems to be good) you only have to learn the topics - so it's the same as every other subject. ;)Jess hat geschrieben: Haha I guess that will be my problem too. I guess I could be in the worst mood, I still would start laughing, when I watch this.

Yes I did, but why is it cool? For me it was basically the same as if I would talk to anyone else, who's from a different country. ;)Katniss Granger hat geschrieben:Did anyone here ever talk to a dutch? That's very cool.

Well i did some years ago, but he couldn't speak english and he was very bad a german either. But that was still quite cool, because some words of dutch sounds pretty much like the german words. So we were more like doing a dumb show than communicating, but that was the funniest talk I ever had with someone!Katniss hat geschrieben:Did anyone here ever talk to a dutch? That's very cool.

Just cause she's the wife of John Lennon, but that's no reason to start singing like that! :)Sonea Ginevra Inava hat geschrieben: I'm still wondering why she is so famous. Who wants to listen to something like this? Strange woman.![]()
And think only people like use listen to it for amusement. :)
Why is it more funny to talk to a dutch? Was she having a strange accent?Katniss Granger hat geschrieben:Did anyone here ever talk to a dutch? That's very cool.
