yeah! I love english. I had it as advanced course (=leistungskurs

) in school. I think it is a beautiful language. I watch movies only in english, because it is much better in my opinion than watching it translated in german. You should try it, too, if you don't do it already. It is also good to improve your english.

Oh, yes.... I've not already have seen many films in English, but I was impressed more by them than by the translated ones.... I think of Kingdom of Heaven, the film I love most - in English....

THANKS so much for opening this thread! I absolutely love to speak/write English but I don't really have a lot of opportunities to do so. You can call me a freak but that's why I normally talk to myself in English. Oh, and to my PC!^^... Yes, I talk to my PC! xD And to my cat, now when I think about it...
To my mind English is a beautiful language and it is easy to learn, at least if you compare to learning for example French (I never was really good at French...)
I really want to move to Britain/the USA/Australia/New Zealand one day, just to speak English. And of course so that my children can get wonderful English names and people in their surroundings will be able to pronounce them right. xD
I guess now it's quite obvious that I do like English, but I can't help it.

Oh, English... Well, I´m not as good as anyone of you in English, I´m sure. And I´m sure too, there are so many mistakes in my sentences. But -it´s difficult to explain- speaking English makes me happy. Look at my avater, look at my sig... English. So I can say I don´t love English but I like it.
And I can say your Thread is great, *Anna*.

Oh English is that great. I really love it, especially hearing native speakers.
Traveling to London and speaking to this people all day was like paradise to me
I also prefer to read books in English. On 4th of August there's finally 'Breaking Dawn' by Stephenie Meyer coming out. So the story of Bella and Edward continue... Can't wait to read it
This thread is really a good idea

As all of you have said, English is a great language - I love it, too.

And yes, its much more easy to lern as French, @CönnySnape. I sometimes even THINK in English. :) But last summer, when we where in England to visite friends of us, I didn't really speak English. I just smiled and asked my mother to speak when someone spoke to me. So speaking English is not as easy to me as read and write English - but I'm sure that I'm going to learn it.
@Veros
Are you now sure about that? Is your hair long enough now? I think that it's going to look very cool - but I also allways liked your hair, when it was short cutted!
I hope that I didn't make so many mistakes!

Yes, finally a 'Only English' Theard. Nonetheless, I'd rather put it into the 'Quasselecke' than in 'Schule & Hobbies'. Well, at least we have this theard. :]
I'm really excited right now. I just called my host family, who are living in Texas. My host mum is such a nice person and I know, I'll feel comfortable at their house. My host dad sounds so, let' say Hispanic! When I called them, he needed some time until he realized who I am.

Cute! They brightened up my mood, after Spain defeated us. *coughs*
By the way, no one has to feel sorry about their English. C'mon it's not our native language!

I like this idea...speaking English. I hope I don't make so many mistakes, but I think my very [streng] English teacher teached my a lot the last years. Actually I like this language, because I can speak it better than French and it's easier

. Moreover it sounds good and the whole world understands you if you speak English. Too bad that I was in London 5 years ago when I couldn't speak English.
